Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa opens

As part of its expansion plan in Asia Pacific, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Rockwood Hotels & Resorts Ltd to debut the Sheraton brand in Udaipur. The Rockwood Palace Resort and Spa has been re-branded as Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa from August 1, 2010, and is managed by Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

According to the company release, the 240-room Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa is located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. Facilities include approximately 600 square metres of meeting space and three lush gardens, four restaurants and bars, a spa and an upcoming club floor.
