Keith Richards to leave ABTA
27th Feb 2010ABTA head of professional development Keith Richards is being made redundant and will leave the association in April. A restructure at the trade body will axe his position, leaving him with no role to play.
Richards was formerly ABTA’s head of consumer affairs and has worked for the association for 13 years.
ABTA chief executive Mark Tanzer said: “Keith has given tremendous service as part of ABTA’s management team for more than a decade, first as head of consumer affairs, modernizing the consumer-facing aspects of ABTA, including our successful arbitration and redress schemes.
“As head of professional development, he has helped build the industry’s awareness of sustainability and accessibility, and is now recognized in Europe as an authority on these issues. We wish him well in the future.”
