IndiGo to connect Coimbatore to Chennai and Delhi effective November 30, 2010
22nd Nov 2010 IndiGo has announced that it will connect Coimbatore to Chennai and Delhi effective November 30, 2010. As per the company release, these services will further consolidate IndiGo’s position as the fastest growing airline in India, with its 207 flights connecting 23 destinations across the nation. Both corporate and leisure customers travelling from Coimbatore will now have the opportunity to experience hassle-free and on-time performance of the airline.
Speaking on the launch of Coimbatore as a new destination, Aditya Ghosh, President, IndiGo said, “Expanding operations in South India is in line with our growth strategy in the Indian market, and Coimbatore is a key market for us. We are looking at providing affordable fares on these new routes for 6E travellers. IndiGo will continue to expand its network to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travellers wherever they demand it.
