Domestic operations from T3 at New Delhi's IGIA to begin on November 14, 2010

According to a PIB release, M Madhavan Nambiar, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) yesterday reviewed the preparedness for starting of domestic operations of airlines from Terminal 3 (T3) at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in New Delhi. To ensure the least inconvenience to the passengers, it was decided at the review meeting that domestic operations of the three airlines, Air India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines from T3 will begin from November 14, 2010.

A number of simulation exercises will be carried out during the period leading up to November 14, 2010 by all the stakeholders. MoCA will also review the entire preparedness during this period.
