Air India launches low fare tickets on specific domestic sectors till March 31, 2011
19th Feb 2011 According to a UNI report, Air India (AI) has launched fares as low as Rs 100 on specific sectors in its domestic network. The tickets will be available in the 14-day advance booking category under the Budget Season Promotion Scheme between this month and March 31, 2011.
The offer, coming close in heels of the low Specific-Flight Fares on AI coded flights (offer available on seven domestic sectors for Rs 999 plus taxes), reiterates the national carrier’s commitment to make air travel more accessible and affordable.
The 14-day advance purchase fare of Rs 100 (one way) is available between Delhi and Chennai, Delhi and Bengaluru and Delhi and Hyderabad. Apart from this, Air India is also giving a seven-day advance purchase fare of Rs 370 (one way) between Kochi and Mumbai and one way instant purchase fare of Rs 499 between Coimbatore and Kozhikode. Passengers will only have to pay the normal fuel surcharge, passenger service fee, User Development Fee- wherever applicable- and the service tax.
