When you think of houseboats you think of the backwaters that are so famous in Kerala isn’t it? Yes that’s is the first thing that comes into the mind of any visitor visiting Kerala for the first time and the major attraction being the backwaters and the stay at the houseboat. These houseboats as they say were used as the transport for the trade and commerce that took place in the times of the Britishers rule, but after that the modern day transport system replaced it and the houseboats became the tourist thing that attracted millions every year giving Kerala tourism a boom in its revenue.

Day 1 : Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport. Upon arrival, you would be met by our representative and transferred to Bolgatty Palace. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar
Morning drive to the beautiful hill station of Munnar. housing world's highest tea-growing estates. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel Sienna Village. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Munnar
Full day at leisure to explore on your own. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Munnar - Periyar
Morning drive to Periyar( 90 kms). Upon arrival check-in at hotel Cardamom country.
Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 : Periyar - Kumarakom
Early morning boatcruise on the Lake of the famous Periyar wildlife sanctuary to see wild life. Periyar - an artificial lake or reservoir created by a dam on Periyar River is the heart of the Wildlife Sanctuary wild elephants, Asiatic Deer, Black Buck and even Tigers come to shores of the lake for a drink. Return to hotel for breakfast.

Day 6 : Kumarakom - Houseboat
Morning at leisure Afternoon board the traditional rice boats - "Ketuvallam" and begin your journey through the picturesque backwaters and small lakes relaxing in the tranquillity of Kerala's beautiful scenery.
Overnight on board

Day 7 : Houseboat - Poovar
Breakfast on board.
Sail to Alleppey & disembark at Puthenagady Jetty. Thereafter, drive onto Poovar.
Overnight at resort.

Day 8 : Poovar
Full day at leisure for your own activities.

Day 9 : Poovar - Trivandrum -Out
Morning drive to Trivandrum for your flight back home.
