Collins Biography
Chuck Collins is the co-founder and co-director of United for a Fair Economy(UFE), a national non-partisan organization that draws attention to the consequences of growing income and wealth inequality in the U.S.
He is the author of numerous books and articles on economic inequality, housing policy, socially resonsible investing and social changes.
With Joan Garner and Pam Rogers he is co-author of Robin Hood Was Right: A Guide to Giving Your Money for Social Change, a nuts-and-bolts guide for taking control of money, investing, and tax-wise giving.
He is also co-author of Shifting Fortunes: Growing American Wealth Gap and Economic Apartheid in America: A Primer on Economic Inequality and Insecurity, and author of Directory of Socially Responsible Investing.
His essay on housing policy appeared in The Affordable City edited by John E. Davis. His articles have appeared in The Nation, Sojourners, and Tikkum.
Collins has a BA in history and political economy from Hampshire College and a Masters in Business and Community Economic Development from New Hampshire College.
He lives in Boston with his wife and daughter.
