DAY 01: Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional Welcome
our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for
check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel. After
breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with
a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the
drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visits to
Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur
temple. Overnight stay at Hotel. DAY 02: Delhi - Jaipur (250 km / 5 hrs)
Post breakfast we leave for Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will meet & assist you to check-in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Excursion to Chokhi Dhani:
Today we will take you for evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel forovernight stay.
DAY 03: Jaipur
Early morning after breakfast 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride the elephant back and reach the Fort situated on the hill and then visit the Fort Palace. Later we visit the City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds. Overnight stay.
DAY 04: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (260 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast in the coffee shop, we drive at 0900 hrs to Agra. En route
we visit Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance
of its palaces and courts. Further proceed to Agra, upon arrival we help
you check-in at our hotel at Agra. Overnight stay at Agra. DAY 05: Agra (Excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan) - Varanasi
Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinated Indians and foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After early breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs to Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra Fort. Later in the afternoon we leave for Sikandara, Akbar's tomb. Further we proceed to Mathura and Vrindavan, related with the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna.
In the evening, transfer to the Agra railway station to board overnight train for Varanasi, scheduled to departat 2320 hrs.
DAY 06: Arrive Varanasi ARRIVE VARANASI
Varanasi at 0800 hrs. and transfer to prebooked hotel. Varanasi : formerly known as Kashi - the city that illuminates. The religious capital of Hinduism , Varanasi is the oldest living city of India & one of the worlds' most ancient. The present name is derived from the fact that the city is at the confluence of the rivers Varuna & Asi.
Afternoon, excursion to Sarnath - the buried Buddhist city where Buddha preached his first sermon. After attaining enlightenment at Bodh Gaya the Buddha went to Sarnath; and it was here that he preached his first discourse in the deer park to set in motion the 'Wheel of the Dharma'. It is one of the most holy sites as in this place the stream of the Buddha's teaching first flowed. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 16th century BC to 12th century AD
DAY 07: Varanasi
Early morning, leave for boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats
(river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from
a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. The life on the Ghats bound
in an endless string of rituals, ever-changing aspects of the river &
the wide landscape across have fascinated visitors from all over the world.
Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, city tour of Varanasi - Visit the Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, Durga temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Benaras Hindu University which has an art gallery & the mosque of Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb.
Afternoon, excursion to Ramnagar. Return by boat in the evening, enroute witness the religious ceremonies along the banks of river Ganges.
DAY 08: Varanasi - Delhi (By Air)
Morning at leisure and afternoon on-time transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Upon arrival assistance at the airport and transfer to the Hotel near to airport for short stay.
DAY 09: Depart Delhi
