DAY 01: Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional Welcome
our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for
check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel. After
breakfast we will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with
a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the
drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visits to
Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur
temple. Overnight stay at Hotel. DAY 02: Delhi - Jaipur (250 km / 5 hrs)
Post breakfast we leave for Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will meet & assist you to check-in at our hotel for overnight stay.
Excursion to Chokhi Dhani:
Today we will take you for evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 03: Jaipur
Early morning after breakfast 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD
DAY 04: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (260 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast in the coffee shop, we drive at 0900 hrs to Agra. En route
we visit Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with the stunning elegance
of its palaces and courts. Further proceed to Agra, upon arrival we help
you check-in at our hotel at Agra. Overnight stay at Agra. DAY 05: Agra - Gwalior (By Train)
Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinated Indians and foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After early breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs to Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Afternoon transfer to Railway station to catch the train for Gwalior - The entire city is a visual and aesthetic feast, for the builders of Gwalior were great architects. Take a walk through the streets of the city and you will discover old havelis with exquisitely carved doorways and windows at almost every street crossing you will find statues of the Scindia family. Museumes and art galleries are treasure houses and beautifully maintained palaces give the city its inimitable regal flavour. Sightseeing in Gwalior is a magical trip into the centuries gone by. Upon arrival at Gwalior Railway station transfer to our pre-arranged hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 07: Gwalior
After breakfast, visit the Gwalior fort - Standing on a steep mass of sandstone,
Gwalior Fort dominates the city and is its most magnificent monument. It
has been a scene of momentous events : imprisonments, battles and jauhars.
Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi. On arrival
in Delhi meet and assist at the railway station and transfer to prebooked
hotel. DAY 08: Depart Delhi
