DAY 01: Arrive Delhi
You arrive in Delhi by International flight. After a traditional Welcome
our representative would assist you at the airport and to our hotel for
check-in. After some rest, breakfast at coffee shop in the Hotel. The First leg of the Golden Triangle Tour starts with a guided tour. We will go on a guided tour of Delhi at 1100 hrs, beginning with
a morning sightseeing trip to Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat followed by the
drive around India Gate and President's House. In the afternoon visits to
Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur
temple. Overnight stay at Hotel. DAY 02: Delhi - Agra ( Via mathura & Vrindavan) (220 km/ 5 hrs)
Today morning we will take you for New Delhi guided tour visits to Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, Mahavir Ahinsa Sthal and Chhatarpur temple.Later in the afternoon we leave for Agra via visiting Mathura & Vrindavan, related to the birth and childhood of Lord Krishna. Upon arrival in Agra assistance and check-in hotel. In the evening enjoy the magic show performed by the local magician and overnight stay.
DAY 03: Agra/Jaipur Via Fatehpur Sikari (250 km/ 5 hrs.)
Agra, the erstwhile capital of India under the great Mughals and known for Taj Mahal, has always fascinated the Indians as well as foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on the West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort and the Taj at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind's most remarkable creations. After breakfast you will leave for a half day sightseeing visiting Taj Mahal built by emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. N
DAY 04: Jaipur
Early morning after breakfast 11 km drive to Amber, the capital of the gallant
Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride the elephant back and reach the Fort
situated on the hill and then visit the Fort Palace. Later we visit the
City Palace, Birla Temple, Jantar Mantar Observatory and the Palace of Winds.
Excursion to Chokhi Dhani:
Today we will take you for evening excursion to Chokhi Dhani complex, an ethnic village resort located at a distance 15 km from Jaipur. Evenings at Chokhi Dhani are very special. A Rajasthani village atmosphere is recreated on the sprawling ground and includes the entertainment by folk dancers and musicians. The guests can move around freely and enjoy the evening. Later drive back to Hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 05: Jaipur / Delhi (260 km / 6 hrs)
Post breakfast, we drive to National capital New Delhi. Upon arrival assistance and check at our hotel in Delhi. In the evening at 1800 hrs we will go for Sound and Light show, the eventful history Red Fort has been witness to is brought out as a sound and light show every evening on the ramparts of the Red Fort. For those desirous of delving into Delhi's glorious and tumultuous past at the Red Fort. Overnight stay.
DAY 06: Delhi - Jim Corbett National Park (300 km/6 hrs.)
After an early breakfast, we drive at 0800 hrs to Jim Corbett National Park named after Jim Corbett, the legendary British, who turned from being a hunter and to a conservationist. There are lot of interesting stories and anecdotes in the atmosphere about him and his experiences.
Corbett has a good Tiger population. It was here that the "Project Tiger" was launched in 1973 to conserve the dwindling population of Tigers. Four species of deer - Hog deer, Sambhar, Spotted deer & Barking deer and other prey like wild boar, support the predators. Besides Tiger, Corbett biosphere reserve is a heaven for 50 mammals, 580 kinds of birds and 25 reptile species. The Park has elephants, the Himalayan black bear in the higher elevations, sloth bear, variety of lesser cats and a large variety of avifauna. After check-in the hotel we go on the afternoon jeep safari. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Nestling in the foothills of the Himalayas, it has an extremely varied topography and vegetation.
This gives it a rich diversity of habitat and natural beauty. Flat valleys
are interspersed with hilly ridges and the Park's rolling grasslands known
as the 'Chaurs' provide visitors with an excellent view of the animals.
The Park spans across some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100
metres about the foothills of the western Himalayas in the districts of
Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. DAY 07: Jim Corbett National Park (Morning & Afternoon Safari)
Today we shall take you on two jungle safaris. Morning @ 0530 hrs and afternoon @ 1500 hrs. Morning safari is before breakfast and afternoon safari after lunch. We'll have plenty of time for leisure during the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 08: Jim Corbett National Park - Delhi (300 km / 6 hrs.) - Departure
Early morning before breakfast @ 0530 hrs leave for jeep safari. After breakfast some leisure time and then in the afternoon at 1400 hrs we drive back to Delhi. On arrival transfer to International Airport.
