Gujarat Textiles & Culture Tour
The color, romance and shimmer of Gujarat are retained in its culture and textiles. Master craftsman Ramsinh Malam built Aina Mahal or Mirror Palace at Bhuj in the 18th century. He personally crafted the mirrors, glasswork and artistic wonders of the palace such as intricate fountains and doors inlaid with ivory and gold. Dwarkadhish Temple is considered to be most beautiful in all the three worlds. Situated on the shores of the Arabian Sea, it has beautifully carved shikhar that sports a flag of 52-yard fabric that can be seen from a distance of 10 km. The Calico Museum of Textile at Ahmedabad presents remarkable specimens of handicraft textiles from remotest corners of India. Get lost in extraordinary range of fabric patterns, colors, weaves, embroideries and embellishments of Indian textiles with this tour.
